Adventure Camp

at last back home after three long and tiring days.. hahax.. firstly must thank hongjie.. asked him some questions and i was like so slow then dont really understand.. have to make him explain slowly.. hahax.. THANKX HONGJIE!!
guess those who went for the camp just glimpse through can already.. this post should be quite boring for most as we went for the activities..

First day
hmmm.. it was quite a long wait for the seng kang students to leave.. there was some sort of introductions from the instructors.. followed by ice-breaking(or is it breaker??) games.. my group members are generally ok.. but some keep throwing the stone so was a bit irrated by them.. after that moved into our hut then assembled for lunch.. i think we shouted to see who gets the food first right? cant really remember.. i have short-term memory.. hahax..

after lunch went for orienteering.. but was quite boring just finding directions using compass and did pacing.. but the pacing is always inaccurate... after that had leadership activities.. quite fun here.. first we did dont know what shuffling.. this one not fun so dont talk about it.. hahax.. next was electric fan i think.. this game is like there's a string.. then we have to cross it by anyway without touching the string.. it was quite high(maybe i think it's high course i am short).. it's like high above my waist.. lastly was the trust fall thing.. this one is a bit scary.. one of us have to stand on the table and fall backwards and your friends behind have to catch you.. a bit scary.. not everyone took part here(think the time management was a bit bad through the camp)..

YAY!! the next one is rock climbing.. hahax.. i think this is the most exciting activity that day.. i climbed half way and got stuck there then have to come down and let others play cause of insufficient time again..after this was dinner followed by night actvity.. the night activity was quite fun.. but every stairs seems never-ending.. hahax.. then at first jing mei in front of me.. when there's steps she will tell me.. then towards the ending when she became the 'leader' then aik yong was in front of me.. he dont tell me when there's a step or something so i have to keep a look out myself.. after this was supper followed by bathing then SLEEP.. yay.. at last can rest.. was quie tired the previous night slept at 1am.. i was looking for someone who has an extra plate to lend me.. my mother cheated me.. told me that we had plastic plate that i can use for the camp.. on sunday night while packing then got her to get me one.. guess what.. she said she brought it to malaysia and didnt bring back.. great news right.. then spent the night finding plate and found one from ganjoo.. hahax..

Second day
had morning stretch.. nothing to say here.. then went for breakfast.. then had to eat fast cause we had toilet cleaning duties.. sobss.. i want to serve food!!! why must my group clean toilet........ then after that start our activities again!! first was challenge rope course(CRC).. something that i was anticipating.. the first station was the balancing on thw some kind of wood(or whatever it is).. was quite scary as that thing can move.. nothing to grab on but in the end everyone grab the safety rrope which we are not supposed to do so i guess...... hahax.. but who cares? we need a sense of security(human nature).. the next station was suppose to be very easy.. we just have to cross a stationery log.. but i didnt get to do it(a girl delayed too much in both stations!!!!) so i just did one station.. sobs.. so sad over it(ask george.. hahax.. he knows the best..)

next was general elments(did 3 staions).. i think this is more to the creativity side.. first station was to get the tyre out of a pole(obviously taller than everyone) and to put it back..next station(i dont know the name!) but it's something like there 3 stones.. then our instructor will give some instructions like how many to get up that sort of things.. the last one was nitro crossing.. we cheated here.. didnt do the proper way.. other groups like used their shoelace to get the rope.. mine was like they saw a broom nearby and used it to get the rope over.. hahax... that's all for this i guess.. nothing much here.. then it's lunch time...
after lunch had kayaking!!!! very very very fun.. hahax.. i love this one..... at the starting we had to walk into the sea water..then had to dip our head into the seawater. it's really salty.. (ps: jia sheng.. we know u have a lot of experience in kayaking but it's our first time here you know??? cant blame us from complaining that the seawater in salty right?) after that went out to the sea.. so fun.. keep splashing water around.. think i met up with kevin's and eugene's boat a lot.. i remembered i kept splashing at them....... hehex.. sorry sorry.. keep splashing you guys.. the best part was when me and jia sheng met up with mr chua... we paddled like mad just to get away from him... at first he almost caught up.. then for some reasons he stopped and talked to others on the other boat... hahax... relieved......

then outdoor cooking was next.. but it was horrible.. serious.. the potato took ages to cook and we melted 3 or 4 plastic plates(by accident)...... then the egg took very long too so it bacame half-boiled egg.... hahax........ there was dough(dont know what it's called) use some flour and water to make it.. it was nice.. the potato and egg was finished by the guys(dont know what's wrong with them to eat it)..

finally the last station was abseiling/zipline or flying fox.. abseiling nothing much to talk about.. zipline...... this one very smooth sailing.. not like school's.. hahax.. the fun part was being the trolley party.. hahax.... have to pull the person to the spot above the platform.. then some pushed the trolley.. and another one have to hold the rope and run back to the tower then get another set of ropes... then dinner time...
now is the most important thing in a camp!! campfire...............................weee~~ hahax.. it was very fun serious.. everyone did cheers together.. there was also cheer performance from each group.... very interesting.. hahax... then supper and bathing again then went to sleep....

Thrid day
did morning stretch again.. got stuck at one exercise cause some person lift their heads.. then keep re-doing until my leg muscle so pain.. then ate breakfast.... then while washing my dishes i somehow splash that dirty water on myself.. but not a lot hahax... few drops on my legs and hand... my hair also got a bit.. lucky gerald help me clean it off..^^ hmm.. then nothing much today.. just area cleaning.. for my group was the multi purpose halland the walk way from the multi purpose hall to the nitro crossing station.. everyone picked the leaves around.. then everyone assemble.. there was an evalution form that we are supposed to fill in.. then after that there was some kind of prize for the best 2 campers in each group.... then we went home..... YAY!! but stay on the bus very long before we went off thanks to a missing person.....

sorry sorry.. think this post very long and boring right? hahax.. i dont know what to say so no choice.. hahax..
