George, Boon Ping and I went to the library to attempt to complete our home work today. It is really overwhelming! We barely completed a mere fraction. I wonder how the all of you are doing. Here's a wonderful picture of George.

im pretty amazed that at a week from examintions, Hongjie could still be so free and calm to worry about other people? maybe thats where me and him are similar bah X)
I wonder how many more people is still slacking like me? coms and tv everyday it is unhealthy yes but dunno leh i always last min study de la maybe tmr flip the txtbk a bit.
Hongjie talked about the chalet on his post so thats what im going to talk about to.Yes it is according to what Hongjie said we are going to organise another class event during the june holidays. But, circumstances might prevent us from having the chalet. At this time, it is already very late to book a chalet so there might not be enough "slots" for us. And with the coming exams we(hongjie+me) am forced to only make the booking after the examinations which is after 3 more weeks time. Regarding this, me, ronald and hongjie would discuss it after the examinations and i hope to get a solution to this problem and somehow organize a class event in which mr ong says, will help "bond" us together.... Big walk seems like quite few people could make it only... i only have a few names on my hand could those who are interested pls inform me so that i could give the names to mr ong. This is NOT a compulsory event so please dont come if you feel you are being FORCED to. Offer to go WILLINGLY thank you very much.

Today, I would like to bring everyone’s attention the Clarence-Li Ting issue. On a personal note, I find the separated tables very unsightly. Moreover, I am convinced that it does not give passers-by a good impression of our class. It is funny, to a certain extent.
With the re-arranging of sitting due to the mid-year examinations, this problem will seemingly come to a halt. Yet I am distressed, for it is shocking how such strong enmity and hatred exists between two of our classmates. I conceive that as a class we should be unified. Perhaps the river of time will cool them down. I still feel uneasy, however. Maybe I am just interfering too much.
We are planning a chalet. Preparation will start after the examinations. There will be much to do, and the honor of this task goes mainly to our functions head and vice-chairman. I’ll just sit back and enjoy. Nah, just kidding. I’ll lend a hand too, when I can spare it.
Feedback and suggestions regarding the chalet in particular, or any affair of the class in general, is strongly welcomed.

Surely you’d understand that I did that for the common good. Do you expect me to sit quietly with my hands behind my back like a little boy? Nay! I will act, for I do not wish to regret.
It is ironical to note that you have criticized me too, hence whatever wrong I have done you have done likewise. As such, you have failed to practice what you preach, making your credibility very dubious.
Yet I would like to thank George for his valued opinion, for feedback is necessary for improvements. Still waters breed mosquitoes, similarly, a still mind isn’t very pleasant.

ok this post got 2 purpose. 1st is to inform everyone that exams are coming so....pls study now =.= . 2nd. in these few months, Hongjie has been coming on to the class blog to give comments about alot of things and I can say that I am happy at least there is someone besides Lihuan and Aiksong and Mr Ong to post lol. But i feel that Hongjie should stop posting about things that criticise about other people because they might not be happy and WE all know that Hongjie has gotten into trouble in 1 case in school involving our Biology teacher. I really dun hope for anything to happen again lol. Yes its a nice show but its not really good when you come to tink of it later so i hope hongjie would refrained himself from this moment on bah!

If my memory serves me correctly, there was much banging and shouting this morning during the math test. The 19th of April’s entry of this blog http://she-sucks-here.blogspot.com/ explains much about the banging. Despite the rampant use of vulgarities on the above blog, I believe that she has a point there, although I do not wholly approve of the language used.
I postulate that the racket we heard was made by the 4e2 boys slamming the windows. I conceive that I should have been able to finish question 4 if there was no such cacophony. It strikes me as extremely ironical: the same class which complained about noise during their test made even more noise during ours. (I did not hear 2e1 shouting at all, whereas I could hear the banging very distinctly).
After reading that post, I have another thing to say, something which is quoted from Lord of the Rings (as precisely as I can remember).
Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. But can we give it to them? No. Then do not be quick to deal out death in judgment, for even the most wise cannot see all ends.

Mr Ong asked for someone to post about the oral examination so i be the victim bah.
It was no pleasant experience thats for sure, for me at any rate. I was sweating through the whole thing, cold sweat. Everyone was very nervous and I'm the last one waiting for my turn how nervous do u think I was!!!!!!! Anyway what done has been done and we should also put the past behind and look towards the future eh?
I also have to agree with Hongjie regarding his recent post. Some teachers should not blame all of us for those people who does not finish their work on time. Even though those who did not finish their work on time deserve the teachers' punishment, but I don't think that the teachers should be too particular about this. Reason is that I believe that everyone is bound to have forgotten to finish their work on time even teachers. I think the teachers should not let these kind of rubbish from students to bother them and ruin their day althought i have forgotten my work sometimes too. In any case the teacher should like react to the situation with a smaller reaction so as not to disrupt the lesson. One good way might be like mr ong give the student until the end of the day so that the lesson would not be disrupted.
I also talked to some of our classmates and they show interest in the BigWalk thingy so should be able to go ahead with it i think.
Mr Cheong said that we must exercise weekly and Mr Ong says we must practise maths and don't play basketball who should be listen to leh??? I think its okay to play all day lol as long as you are good in the studies.

Verily, the teachers are complaining. Yes, but about what? About our behavior? How did they come to that conclusion? Why do they believe they are right? What kind of behavior do they want?
The unfortunate thing is, some teachers demand contradictory things. It is extremely frustrating. If the rules could be set out clearly and specifically like the three laws of robotics, things would be far simpler.
Hence the tree of folly is watered, due to vagaries and inconsistencies.
I find it difficult to give certain teachers the respect every teacher should deserve. They berate the whole class due to the actions of the minority, which is extremely bad for the class morale.
I would like to make myself clear. I am not trying to stir up some trouble. I am trying to avoid it. Which is why I would like the questions to be answered.

First time I am writing today due to Mr Ong's numerous homework=.="
Firstly,
like what Lihuan said, Mr Ong proposed that on the 21st of May 2006 Sunday
which is after the exams(thank goodness) that we joined the
Big Walk somewhere and sometime. The details are unknown yet but i will find out and keep u guys posted so no worries anyway its like.... more than a month later lol
why bother with it now right??? Just make sure u guys are free on that day then ok le.
Secondly,
The class tee is on its way and Lihuan and Aiksong are working on it already so that it will be ready before the day of the Big Walk.
Lastly,
As the Function Comittee Head, I am suppose to organize activities/events to bring the class closer. Some people in class proposed that we go to chalet for the June Holidays. I am open to all suggestion whether it is u opposed the chalet idea or which chalet to choose, I am only afraid there are no feedbacks from you people which would put me in a dilemma of what to do as i am only a newbie i would also look forward to help from you my fellow classmates.
It is very late now so i will stop here.

I have deleted the previous post and apologized for my wanton use of language. In return, Royston has promised to be neither vulgar nor violent. I am glad, this matter has been settled much more civilly and swiftly than I expected.
Ah, the locking of the school gates. Well, maybe it was effective. However, the methods used were wrong. For example, if I get rich by underhanded means, does that mean I am correct? I presume not.
It may have worked this time, but will it be beneficial in the long run? Personally, I feel that this has aggravated the student population greatly. Initially, I had no strong feelings whatsoever about house practice. Now, I am beginning to despise it.
I perceive that the organizers have targeted the wrong areas. Instead of using forceful means, they should try to find out why people do not want to attend house practice. With this information, they will be able to solve the core of the problem for once and for all in a way that satisfies everyone. It may be difficult, but they could give it a shot at least.
Indeed, there are many lenses with which we may use to view the world. There is no absolute, but I conceive that there are different shades of gray. Some perspectives may be more valid than others.
There is a story which I think is rather meaningful. There was a man who had a gold watch; and his wife had beautiful long hair. One day, the man sold his watch to buy clips for his wife’s hair, and his wife sold her hair to buy gold accessories to match his watch. Ironical.
If one side is always giving in to the other, it is known as exploitation (which should be avoided, naturally). However, if both sides are too selfless, things may not be as good as we would like. Things aren’t very simple, sadly.
I am convinced that the least the organizer could do was to warn as in advance.
Apropos, I sweep the floor everyday. Not the whole class, but at least a portion of it (that’s the portion where I am located).

ok i shall blog about yesterday then...juz to get the ball rolling
yesterday had house practise. And little did i noe that the school would CLOSE ALL THE GATES AND NOT LET ANYBODY GO!!!i mean come on, does huayians deserve this kind of prisoner-like treatment? we should have the freedom to go in and out...for example me, my auntie had already cooked lunch for me at her house waiting for me to go and eat. And without prior notice the school just lock everybody in! how can they do that? whats more i had intended to go home to change into my school pe shirt but no one was allowed to go out at all...in the end i believe majority of the population of huayians were very frustrated...i dun think the school should resort to such underhand means to keep the students within its compounds.
i hope this would not happen again...
