Hi guys!
anyway the class blog seems quite stagnent so me and huan decided to take turns to post the homework for the day and also the tests that are occuring the day after.
For today we have:
NO homework, except for those who are not done with the Woodgrove papers for chemistry, the weekly Maths papers and the chapter on static electricity in the workbook for physics.
For tomorrow we have:
One of the weekly chinese tests. The marks would not be included in our monthly report card.
Thats all for today and I will update again tomorrow.
See you guys in school tomorrow and I hope that you all would have a nice day!

Hi all!
An apology for this is a late post, I've been wanting to get this post on Sunday but the only problem now is that I'm not able to change the ugly font which was appearing on my screen while typing.
Let us get straight into work.
It's been months since I've posted on the class blog. This year, no more 1-hour posts! I'll type freestyle! My Nu-style. This will be a free space for my personals, views and some other miscellaneous discussions. Cheers mates!

I feel something contradicting about the school's idea of cutting cost. If the school wants to cut costs, why hold morning assemblies in the hall, switching on 20+ fans which run at about 2 or more kW of electrical energy each, 30+ hyper-generated lamps overhanging above our heads precariously, and the high-definition colour projectors, laptops? Also, to cut cost, why call reinforcements to trample on the fragile & polished parquet flooring of the school hall every morning? Doesn't this add to the maintenance cost? Is the cutting of cost for the sake of not losing face because of our "disciplinary sessions" to those residents of the surrounding blocks behind the quadrangle whereby there is not a need for high electrical consumption, just the PA system and the microphones will do? The constant confinement of us in the hall seems like we're in a concentration camp waiting to be engulfed in cyanide or a more deadly version of poison smog, the Sarin Nerve Gas which is many times more lethal than cyanide.
If I have to make a decision between a detention class and a morning assembly, I would prefer going for a detention, the time I will spend there is more productive than slipshod speeches which don't even mean Jack. Listening to those cunts on the stage everyday seem like a black-hole draining all my energy away instantaneously. Well, this is just merely a view.

Ha! Not easy to find out which are the naughty words. ^^
Currently, I've made two attempt on timestretching music tracks, not really good at it.
What is timestretching?
It's a technique in changing speed of music tracks. The difference is that it'll not affect the pitch and speed of vocals much of the music track apart from the normal Windows Media Player's speed adjustment (totally unprofessional) which makes the tracks sound like Mickey Mouse in the background singing. Timestretching is one of the basics of music editing. For my preference of timestretching, I make use of BPM (Beats Per Minute) as my SI unit of the speed of the track. Most of my tracks which are mainly hardstyle, commercial trance and scouse house/nrg tracks tend to be at 120 BPM, these tracks are good for timestretching. Pop/R&B tracks are mainly about 60-80 BPM, increasing such tracks to about 100 BPM should make it sound alright. How about Rock tracks? better not timestretch. One will suffer from metal madness. Otherwise if you're making a remake of the track to suit well to listeners' ears, it'll be considerable. Happy Hardcore tracks are my fave :) These tracks are 160-180 BPM and they have good lyrics in some tracks and they don't need timestretching. I've only timestretched 2 hard trance tracks which are 120 BPM average to 170 BPM.
Here are the tracks :D

A compensation for a late post, I'll send unplugged/chillout versions of tracks by DHT.

That's all for sharing. We shall top the O levels with complete A1s!
Make your decisions quick! 15 Days lifespan of links, after that, it'll be dead. PM me for re-upload of them if you missed them.
Just before I take my leave, I shall provide the class an exclusive upload, pardonné moi for the bad quality of this clip, it's a 16kbps bitrate quality radio which I've ripped the conversation off from the 987FM on 7:52PM a few days ago. Daniel didnt make his promise to mention about the sandwiches at that time, he talked about our school earlier instead.
Grraaalll!!!
7:52pm clip of Daniel mentioning HYSSCiao! Take a deep breath before listening to the tracks, they're potential weapons of mass destruction...
